Beyond the Spa

Most people confuse Ayurveda with a relaxing oil massage. While relaxation is a side effect, the goal of Clinical Ayurveda is Shodana (Purification).

The 5 Actions (Pancha Karma)

  1. Vamana (Emesis): Use of therapeutic vomiting to clear Kapha toxins from the chest and stomach.
  2. Virechana (Purgation): Clearing Pitta toxins from the liver and gallbladder.
  3. Vasti (Enema): The mother of all treatments. Cleansing the colon to balance Vata.
  4. Nasya: Clearing the head and neck region.
  5. Raktamokshana: Bloodletting (rarely used, only for specific skin conditions).

Why "Living Herbs" Matter

At The Kadu, we follow the Ashtavaidya lineage. We do not use factory-made dried powders. We forage fresh herbs from the Western Ghats daily. The concept is Svarasa (Fresh Juice). The potency (Verya) of a live plant is exponentially higher than a dried one.

This is why a 7-day detox here often yields results comparable to 21 days in a city clinic.
